Our business unit Altitop specialises in the rental of aerial work platforms, forklifts and telehandlers. In addition to our expertise, we have more than 3,000 rental machines available to complete projects successfully.

Your main tasks as a technician in the Waregem workshop:
Based on a predefined schedule provided by the workplace coordinator, you will be responsible for bringing defective aerial work platforms, forklifts and (rotary) telescopic handlers into operational condition by means of the following responsibilities:
- Evaluating which parts are needed to repair the defect and communicating this to the workshop manager.
- Carrying out the more difficult technical repairs.
- Assisting colleagues if they encounter technical challenges.
- Assembling cabling for tracking systems in the machines. This while thinking about the most efficient way to do this.
- Reporting to the workshop manager.
What you can expect from us:
- We are happy to discuss the salary in person. You can expect the following extra-legal benefits: meal vouchers of 8 euros per day worked, echo vouchers of 250 euros and hospitalisation insurance (with the possibility of affiliation of family members).
- From Monday to Thursday, you will work a fixed schedule from 08:00-12:00 and 13:00-17:15. On Fridays, the working day ends as early as 15:00. So the weekend always starts extra early! Extra paid breaks at 10:00 and 15:00 (10 min each).
- You will work a 39-hour week which entitles you to 6 additional paid days off, in addition to 20 paid holidays and 10 public holidays.
- You get the flexibility to take your accumulated compensatory rest in separate hours. We do not impose collective leave. You can schedule your days off, in consultation with colleagues and manager, according to your own needs.
- The health of our employees is important. We focus on this by providing a bicycle lease plan, free fruit, etc. You will also get the chance to work on new/recent equipment and own workplace tools will be provided.
- Several external training courses are provided to learn about the variety of brands. We are also committed to training you internally. You will receive training to obtain forklift and aerial work platform certificates.
