About us

Vertimac is specialized in selling scissor lifts, aerial platforms and telehandlers to wholesalers.
We also supply spare parts for the most popular brands of aerial work platforms.

We have a permanent stock of over 500 machines, which can be tested at any time in our establishment located at 30 Industrielaan, 8790 Waregem (BE). We have all the necessary documents and manuals required for the sale/leasing of the machines in the country of sale.

Forklift company established

1984
Our founder "Dirk Naessens" founds a one-man business at home, specialised in the repair of industrial forklifts.

The company is renamed to 'DK Heftrucks'

1986
The rental activity is started and the construction of the first truck is designed and built in-house.

First aerial platform

1988
The first aerial platform, a Genie, is added to the fleet.

Startup of "HD International"

1993
An additional company is created under the name of "HD International". This company is specialized in the direct import of Japanese forklifts.

First rough terrain forklift

1993
Purchase of first 'Manitou' rough terrain forklift for the rental fleet.

"Heftrucks" becomes "Rental"

1997
The company is renamed to better describe the nature of its activity.

Waregem HQ

1997
Caused by the growing business, the HQ is moved to a bigger and improved site in Waregem, Belgium.

Biggest machine in Belgium

1998
Purchase of the highest reaching boom lift in Belgium at the time (Grove AMZ131XT).

Rental fleet expands

1998
The rental fleet now consists of 300 machines.

Acquisition of "Airmax" & "Instant Belgium"

2000
Airmax and Instant Belgium (Upright Dealer) are acquired and the Spanish branch is opened.

Vertimac is founded by Dirk Naessens, Karel Ghistelinck, Mathieu Naessens and Frédéric Naessens focusing mainly on the purchase and re-sale of second hand access equipment.

Renovation works

2019
Vertimac completed a renovation of the facade of the company. The exterior of the building was given a fresh new look, with new paint, windows, and doors. The landscaping was also updated to give the building a more modern and inviting appearance.

Vertimac today

Vertimac sells machines and parts in more than 80 countries worldwide. More than 2000 machines are sold annually. The spare parts department offers more than 250,000 references. The focus is still entirely on our specialisation, aerial work platforms.
